So this is a brand new Ciaté colour, given to me to review by their super awesome PR company who gave me 2 different colours to try from their collection. I now own three Ciaté colours! I find that I like this brand but I don’t find myself going to their website to buy them. Maybe because I have a bazillion nail polishes I still need to try!! I will say that while I really like this interesting orange/pink/red hybrid colour I have (although sadly the orange stays mostly in the bottle) it has NOTHING to do with the picture displayed on the website. Speaking as a massive nail polish consumer (99% of the polishes you see on my blog were purchased by me!) I feel it’s really important for websites to display accurate bottle pictures.

Is it just me? But that screams more of a blood red with a golden type shimmer! I LOVE the colour I was given, it makes me think of warm weather and the sun (which we’ve actually seen two whole times this week!!!!)…it’s just that the bottles don’t match up.
But anyway, I do like this colour, it’s a warm fun colour…like I said, makes me think of warm things! Flowers and fires (not at the same time!), and the shimmer is really pretty. Is there anything stupendously ridiculously out of this world amazing about it? No…but it’s still a genuinely nice colour, nice application! You could probably find something similar for cheaper though. Ciaté polishes run £9 each.
